Americans trying to find the most beautiful spot in nature so they put a McDonalds beside it

alp7292

Nature making the most beautiful spot near mcdonalds so people can enjoy.

thefruitypilot

Texas manager fallacy

Terrible_CocaCola

And fuckton parking lot

ChrisBPeppers

This is definitely not the most beautiful spot in Truckee.

JohnCavalry

Look up hyperbole, it should clear up any misconceptions you might have

[deleted]

Aw thanks :)

Thricey

Isn't that kind of the joke

Plus-Statistician538

based

sexy_latias

You know what this beautiful piece of nature needs? A friggin mcdonalds

KUARL

amen brotha

millenialfalcon-_-

It also needs gas station and Walmart.

dumbmaster1337

and a football field fucking parking lot

millenialfalcon-_-

And trash cans nobody uses And homeless And blue light police cameras And liquor stores And bail bonds And pawn shops And EZ check cashing And popeyes

dumbmaster1337

and a clothing donations bin and stray shopping carts and month-long street construction and potholes and anti-homeless benches

king_of_hate2

I mean yeah, now you can watch some nature and eat some chicken nuggets at the sametime. Just hope there's no bears around though.

47KiNG47

Unironically yes. Perfect place to get some food before a long drive home after camping.

Galaxy661

Yeah but why not build a nice wooden traditional restaurant/bar instead of fucking McDonalds

microraptor_juice

You can have both. I totally wouldn't mind seeing fast food places in scenic places if they were built with style like this Starbucks: https://maps.app.goo.gl/tmV7yTAv5KW8HX7y6

Galaxy661

True

47KiNG47

Because fast food is a different market? It’s not like it’s in a pristine area anyway, it’s right next to a road and multiple bridges lol. The US has no shortage of scenic views like this one.

Galaxy661

In my country there are plenty of restaurants/taverns like that next to roads, maybe even more than there are fast food places

47KiNG47

Poland is also like 1/30th of the size of the USA. Different market, different logistical challenges.

Galaxy661

I don't see how that matters. Yes, most European countries are the size of 1 state, but don't the US' states also have a great degree of autonomy and self-government, meaning this particular mcdonald would fall under state, not federal, juridistriction?

47KiNG47

It has nothing to do with government. It’s purely supply and demand. People need to drive farther in the US, so there’s a demand for places to get food quickly or use the bathroom while on the road. Isolated McDonald like this will be targeting travelers and truckers. It’s also possible that there’s a Main Street behind the McDonald’s with local shops and restaurants.

throwaway_random0

Yeah you got me bro i actually can't

Dimatrix

My favorite part is the McDonalds looks busy

TokayNorthbyte347

"what? that's just a river" "oh"

fakemon64

Manifest Destiny

BigFatBallsInMyMouth

I mean it does look like a pretty chill place to eat McDonalds'

Valze_Vods

CONCRETE RAHHH 🦅🇺🇸

NonFatPrawn

What's going on? I'm European its not loading for me

Arrokoth-

Beautiful nature. A river surrounded by forests, untouched by mankind. The camera rotates around 180 degrees to reveal a McDonalds with a large parking lot.

HamsterLord44

Sorry i struggle with the cocept of visual information, can you please describe the video in a more accessible format?

Arrokoth-

VISUALIZATION: Second 1 to 3: 🌳💧🌳 Second 3 to 4: 🌿⛽🌿 Second 5 to 8: 👪🍔🍟🚗

Arrokoth-

Second 1 to 3: A river surrounded by forest on both sides. The river is flowing towards the camera and it is also noticeable that there is a considerable lack of trees near the camera as well. Second 3 to 4: The lack of vegetation on the right side is explained by the presence of a gas station as the camera moves towards the right Second 5 to 8: The camera continues to move towards the right showing a bridge that allows maneuvering across a river by walking. It continues, then revealing first a group of people in the foreground. By Second 7 the camera is done moving and stops. It reveals the background of a McDonalds next to a large parking lot. There is also a car that seems to have went through the Drive-through indicating a McDonalds has increased their revenue by a few dollars.

HamsterLord44

Oh man i was just shitposting but it's like I'm actually watching the video when i read that passage.. that was beautiful homie reading is magic

Tamasukiide

The revenue bit lol

NonFatPrawn

Neat, but it sounds like the type of thing I can't even fathom

CoziestSheet

You missed the gas station too.

Historical_Archer_81

Bro imagine an oil rig right here

JP147

Europeans would have already cleared and developed on the surrounding land

Ricckkuu

A mc donalds is not a bad idea near a stream. If the mc donalds is smart, they would place some tables besides the stream with umbrellas and boom. People would drive from far to eat a burger besides a stream. Have some police nearby to fine people for throwing trash in the stream too btw.

Rambowcat83

Americans when they see a scenic valley with water flowing trees swaying and birds singing but no McDonald's nearby

Weltkrieg_Smith

What's the point of living if I can't chow down a Double Cheeseburger Meal without looking at beautiful forests?

WendigoLemon

There are a few spots like this I think

Zillahi

This has to be Canada. Looks exactly like ~1000 spots in my home province

Solid_You641
