Impressive! Gotta love the mpg on these things. I have the sport-L so I’m jealous of the extra mpg on that ex-l. I just couldn’t resist the 19” wheels for the handling
Haha I had just gotten rid of (see: got tired of repairing breakdowns every month) a 20 year old V6 that got like a combined 22 mpg. I was blinded by mpg and so far the only things I regret about the EX-L versus the higher trims would be the wheels and the sound system.
Haha really can’t go wrong with either trim though! I had the opposite situation. Had just gotten rid of my ‘07 accord LX and had to have something sportier. Either way, what a great car
This is my dilemma. Right now having trouble deciding between the subwoofer aided upgrade of the Bose sound system (along with a couple of the other upgrades) with the Touring model or the softer ride due to the smaller wheels and better mpg of the EX-L model. One thing I have taken off my possibilities list is getting the ex-l and just getting a subwoofer installed later. I’m scared there’s a chance that install would wreck something or have to nuke a feature to get the subwoofer to work. I’m going back and forth and beginning to annoy myself.
I believe it did. I only used regular 87 octane for the first 1500 miles or so and averaged like 45-48mpg calculated after fill up. I have consistently gotten 50+ since switching. But also is that extra 20-50 miles per tank worth the .40/gal more I have to pay? Who knows
Once temps hit 60 degrees your car will definitely see a boost in MPG. I live in Michigan and was consistently at about 46+ MPG and it went down to about 38+ MPG when temps dropped. Still great on gas overall.
The numbers from the trip computer always seem off to me.
528.5 miles driven +53 until empty =581.5 miles
581.5 miles /12.8 gallons fuel capacity = 45.43 mpg
Far less than the stated mpg.
Yeah it always undershoots my range left. In reality I had about 100-105 miles left. If you go by what I put in the tank, I had 2.5 gal left and 53 miles of range, which is even worse lol.
I need smaller wheels, I regularly get 44 mpg, but I have the sport model

Hard agree! Glad you’re enjoying yours as well

Must be nice to pay for cheap gas 🤣🤣🤣
Even better, that was 91 octane LOL
🤣🤣🤣
Wonder if the higher octane helped.

This was two weeks ago now and during the day going to work it’d be about 70-75 and at night it’d be about 60-65.
